For example:Let's say you're a bass player and you want to collaborate to the playback: "Desire" from U2. The guitar tracks for this song has been already uploaded by another user. What you have to do is: first download the guitar track on your hard-drive, add the track in your sequencer (Garageband, Cubase, Protools whatever...) , then record your instrument over this track. You also want to keep the silences (the moments when you don't play) so your track will be exactly the same lenght as the guitar track. Once it's done, return to musimix and upload your bass track. All tracks now should works perfectly in musimix sequencer !

At this point you arrive to the collaboration page and you just have to follow the steps to upload and propose your instrument track to the other musicians who has already uploaded thier parts for that song.
